Do & don't tell In the End Note, "Do Tell," you go well beyond the
reasonable call for treating all people with respect by advocating that
companies must provide marital benefits to same sex partners. It's a good thing to publicly condemn hateful speech and behavior
toward a group, be they homosexuals or politicians. This is a standard of decency that all should embrace. You are correct in saying we are all more
productive (which is better for business) when we aren't living in fear of
being harassed for who we are. But you go way beyond social decency when you advocate for companies
to extend "marital" benefits to same-sex partners of
employees. Any society that elevates
perverse relationships to that of marriage is doomed. Study history. Stuart L. Brogden Sr. Planner/Buyer DSC Communications Corinth, TX 8 March 1997 ELECTRONIC BUSINESS TODAY |
