Brogden’s Bikes over the years

1970 – Mannheim West Germany.  Yamaha 50 (I think it was an FS-1), European model.

1972 – San Antonio, Texas.  I’m the cool one with the shades, sittin’ on my Yamaha CS-200.

1974 Honda CB-450 – the only new bike I have owned.  And I don’t have a picture of it!  (This is off the internet).  Owned this bike as a high school senior/college freshman.

~ 1973 Yamaha 360 enduro.  College.

1973 or ’74 Suzuki T-500 Titan (with the Yamaha 360 behind it).  This Suzuki was the quickest bike I ever owned.  College.

1979 Yamaha XS 750 Special.  The best motorcycle I ever owned.  Bullet-proof, fast, reliable, practical and 48 miles per gallon.  Owned this bike from 1985 – 1990.  Stock photo (from internet) below.

1982 Yamaha XV 750 Virago.  Bought it in 2005 with 19k miles on it.  Replaced stock 3.5 gallon gas tank with a 5 gallon tank from an XV 920RH and replaced the stock 16 inch rear wheel with an 18 inch wheel from a 1981 Seca.

1980 Yamaha XS850SG – my current ride.  Bought it in 2007 with 22,700 miles on it, rode it home from Washington, D.C. in four days.
